  Researching Drama for Our Short Film Common CAMS in Drama: There are many essential angles in films with a drama genre. One of the best camera shots for drama is a tilt angle, however, there are many others. Tilt angles help create a dramatic effect within a film and can bring out a series of different emotions. Short film research: Bus 44

The short film watched today was "bus 44" which is a film about a bus which gets robbed on the road and turns to a dramatic ending. It takes place in another country, which makes it have another language. I looked thorough all the elements in the film and here is what I found. Common Sound in the film The most common sounds in the genre are the diegetic sound and dialogue . All the sounds in short film originate from the story world. The sounds do help make the film because even with no music you can still feel the emotion and dramatic turn in the story. The lack of sound if anything adds more which makes the film even more drama filled. The sound, while lacking, is still really good.   Common Mis-En-Scene (CLAMPS) in the film the common CLAMPS in the film are props, costumes, and acting. Time to begin researching, genres are the start

 While me and my group haven't landed on which idea, we want to do for our short film we each have chosen what genres we would like to do. it's been decided to research drama, thriller, and fantasy for my short film. Each of these genres are popular in today's culture and tend to be entertaining for audiences. while we prefer to watch action, romance, and comedy, we believe it would be good to step outside our comfort zone and do something more serious and takes a better look at the world.  Drama is in a lot of movies and are serious a d focus on topics that happen in the real world. Some movies like this are "The fallout", "Titanic", and "The godfather". These movies make people take a better look and feel anger, sadness, and excitement.
