Excited to edit

 Today is one of the final stages of filming my commercial, editing. Despite how the tone sounds I am actually quite excited for this. the first thing that I did was find an editing app that was suitable for my editing. I was able to find one that would take in the video and trim, add music, everything you would need to edit. After I found the app I went straight to working. the first thing I did while editing was upload all my videos into the app. I went through all the clips I had filmed on filming day and picked out the best ones. after doing that I proceeded into looking at the videos themselves. I look through each of them to see if I could find anything that needed to be edited out, or if there was something that need to be completely discarded. Afterwards I put all the clips together as way to start to see how the final project would turn out. After that I went through the videos again because there was a clip I am unsure I want to be in the ending of my commercial. However for now I decided to leave it in because I feel it adds a more funny aspect to my commercial which I found enjoyable. Since put the clips together I am going to try on work on the timing and the matching up of the video. I am still trying to find a song that could go with my commercial, but nothing seems to fit. I know how I want the song to sound but everything I try to put in seems like it would make the commercial to emotion or to goofy, making it sound like a toy commercial. Another problem is whenever I try to add a rock song it just seems completely out of place, like its not supposed to be there at all. I'm hoping that during the day that I can go through different songs on my playlist, and YouTube, and find a song that will fit. That was most of what happened on my first day of editing, and while it might sound a little dull, it was actually quite fun. While I believe I have a good amount of knowledge on editing and filming based on previous experience, I still believe I could do better. I'm going to watch other videos on editing tools and research other knowledge on music design. If I don't find a song I'm considering creating my own beat that will go with my commercial. Before I even consider that I need to make sure that im aloud to do that. Either way editing was a great experience for me and I cant wait to start again Friday.  Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
