Its filming time

Today was finally the day, the day to film, and I have to say it was successful. While I was not able to film last week, I did prepare for filming today by getting props ready and choosing the outfit I would wear, while also going over the camera angles. I was extremely excited to start filming, in the morning I made sure to bring extra coca colas in case the first to explode or got flat while filming. I made sure that when I got to school to leave my props in a safe place where it will be protected. Going ahead through my day I asked two people from my class to assist me with filming. One of them would film the video, while the other would be the other actor in it. they both agreed previously, but one had to help someone else film the video but only a few scenes which was fine. So, while me and my other friend waited, we filmed the first scene which was simple because it was just supposed to be me reading. We could not film the scene without the other person so while we were waiting, I listened to music trying to decide how I wanted the music of my commercial to sound. It was either hype upbeat or calm peaceful music, I am still trying to decide what song but for now I will look for more upbeat songs. Once our other comparing finished, we decided to start filming once again. Halfway through the third scene we decided to reshoot the second scene and change the actor due to other reasons, so my camera person and actor switched roles. I had no problem with it because the scenes being shot were not complicated enough for me to have one specific actor. The scene we had difficulty with was the final shot because it had to be all one take. my actor would have to jump over the seat and then immediately grab the coca cola and start talking to me. We managed to do that, but the hard part was opening the sodas. Every time we opened to take a sip; we had a problem with it fixing up which would cause us to spit out. It happened twice, so for the third time we let it sit for a few seconds to unfix and not exploded in our face. After we finally finished the scene, we were able to reshoot other scenes as backups to make it work. After we finished shooting, we went straight back to class but beforehand, discussed music that could be in our commercials. I had much fun filming today, and I got experience in being a leader. Getting the camera angle I wanted was a little complicated but I learned that I need to learn how to work with my camera better. I'm excited to be editing and to see the final product of the video.  Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. The main person will not be wearing a hat or covering of the head of any kind.  Schedule- 11/20/2021- I will be on a trip in Orlando so will try to film some shots of places I will be at 11/21/2021- I will still be on a trip except I'll be at universal studios so I will film myself at the park with friend...

Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
