New quarter, New project, still just me

 Its a new quarter with a new project, one that I am excited for, the music video. We once again have the choice to either work alone or get together in a group. Once again I have chosen to work alone instead of in a group. I can see how working in a group could benefit me with have someone else to share the load of work with, but I feel its best to work alone. I get to decided how I want my video to be, and not have to ask for anybody else approval to see if that's what they want to do as well. Either way I am excited to do this, plus I doesn't just have to be kids in my class that can be in it. With this video, I get to ask friends and relatives if they want to be in my music video. I just need to make sure I don't film in any broward schools, such as elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools like my own. A place I can film is in a college campus, which works perfectly for me. I'm supposed to be going on a trip to Orlando which could be the perfect place to film my video. I'm going to be at a college campus and later in the trip I get to go to a theme park. depending on the song I chose, I can film my whole music video there. I don't want to get to ahead of myself before I even pick a song, but its hard not to. I'm so excited to be filming this video, and I really want to do it in Orlando which has great places to film. I also could do great shots  with the area and try to go for an an birds eye view angle and have it zoom in on my, but that would take a lot of planning and patience. Either way I am really excited to be filming this music video, and I'm excited to once again be director of some sorts. I plan on being in the video once again because I prefer being in my own work. I might not make myself the star but I will at least make myself a background character. I feel like with this video I wanna focus more on my directing then acting, and making sure I build up the confidence because I want be in the film industry one day or at least have some basic knowledge of this. Even though I'm still just starting out, I already have so many ideas of What I want to do and how I want this video to be. I want this music video to be perfect and I want to have fun while making it. If I don't have fun making this music video, then will it truly be as good as I want it to be.  Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. The main person will not be wearing a hat or covering of the head of any kind.  Schedule- 11/20/2021- I will be on a trip in Orlando so will try to film some shots of places I will be at 11/21/2021- I will still be on a trip except I'll be at universal studios so I will film myself at the park with friend...

Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
