Finally filiming

 After many issues and delays, we were finally able to film today. On Tuesday, we decided that we had to film the next day cause it was then or never. After deciding, we made a time when we would meet at Taylor's house, where we would film. I prepared the night before but bring my own set of props and extra marshmallows in case we run out while filming. Once everything was organized I went to sleep with my outfit for the shooting ready and prepared. When I woke up the next morning the first thing I did was pack my bags and then have an extract back with my change of clothes and props. I went to school and the usual happened, nothing special to report. School ended and instead of taking the bus like I usually do, my dad came and picked me up from school So I could immediately start filming instead of taking the bus all the way home, and having to drive all the way back the fort Lauderdale. Once we all got to the filming location, Taylor's house, we immediately started filming. The first scene we filmed was the opening with the fireplace, which required us to start a fire. Since all of us are kids we had Taylors' father light the fire and watch us while it was on to make sure no one was the get hurt. The first thing we did before even touching the camera was a run-through. Everyone was told to reread the script before so we all knew our lines to act and speak. After two run-throughs and giving each other positive feedback, we were ready to start filming. The first time filming was fun and all of us, after doing it the first time, got a good feel of it. Once we all started to enjoy ourselves, filming became easier. We did each scene with grace and made sure to follow covid standards by keeping apart and wearing a mask when not filming. For each scene, we made sure to film multiple times so that while editing we would have options. The final scene was a bit tricky because it involved us getting on top of the roof. Luckily Taylors roof was stable and we had parents standing by, just in case. We finished in a timely manner and even had a while to relax before heading back. Overall filming was a success if you don't count the fact that we had a few setbacks. Just in the way that I had fun filming, I hope you enjoyed my post and have a good evening.

 Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. The main person will not be wearing a hat or covering of the head of any kind.  Schedule- 11/20/2021- I will be on a trip in Orlando so will try to film some shots of places I will be at 11/21/2021- I will still be on a trip except I'll be at universal studios so I will film myself at the park with friend...

Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
