Our music

when planning out our project my group had to decide what music to use. When deciding, instead of using popular songs, we decided to use public domain music. We put a lot of thought when making this decision and if to do it or not, which was hard. We all agreed that if we were to use a popular song then we would have to message the company and ask for permission to use the song. It could be too late by the time they read that email and we would most likely be done with the video and turn it in. There's no way for sure if we could use the music if we wanted to because what if we put the music in our music video, and the company says no. What are we supposed to do if we do get permission and it turns out the song doesn't fit at all, then we just wasted a whole lot of time. I don't want to risk any of those possibilities happening and ruining our video. The best choice really is domain because we have more options in what to do. With a domain, we won't have to worry about using a song with permission because it's free for anyone to use. All we would have to do is get the song, and then we're good. the only problem is that it's possible someone else could also use the song. Similar to what I said earlier, the public domain is for anyone to use, so literally, anyone can use it. I don't want to hear the music in our project to be used in a different group for the same project, just a different theme. However, it's a risk I'm willing to take since I've already looked at some public domain songs and listened to how good they sound. What I'm going to do is look more into public domain songs, and see if I can find anything that will go with our music. I'm hoping to find something with a crescendo because I feel like it will go well with the movie. Our movie has a big moment at the ending which is supposed to shock people so I feel like a crescendo will help with that. I m excited to be working on the music more, even though we won't get to use any popular songs. I must admit that while the idea sounds great it's more complicated and, using a public-domain song will make the process easier. Hopefully one of my fellow group members, or me, will find a song that goes with our video. I hope everyone enjoyed my vlog and wish me luck for finding the perfect song, goodbye.

 Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. So far, I have been following through and I have become more responsible. I'm hoping the by the end of the year I would have made major life improvements. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
