The reviewing our film so far

 for the film review, I had one of my friends watch what we have on our opening sequence so far with editing. We recently filmed and while we have done quite a bit of editing we need more. During class, I asked one of my classmates to come check out our video. I would let them sit there then I would let them watch our video. After finishing they would tell me what I should fix in the video. At the beginning of the video, we need to work on the fade-in as it could use some work. The acting was good but the cut scenes need to be fast so the dialogue isn't cut and slows down. In the video the lighting, while good, could be better so we need to go through each to see which one fits best with the theme of our movie. One of the scenes had some background music we didn't see before so having a pair of fresh eyes caught it. Instead of using that scene we used one of the backups we filmed which made it better. The scenes where we are inside talking should be changed as said because our dialogue sounds plain and boring. The speed of the video should also be fixed as it could help if the video is sped up just by a hair. The sounds for the background should be louder to give more of a picture, while also lowering the music so it's not overpowering. They said that while the music sounded good it was much too loud and needed to be lowered which I understood and agreed with the rest of the group. The last scene on the roof was definitely the one that needed to be fixed. It's the scene where the main character is taken and the rest of the characters freak out. In the actual scene you never actually see the spaceship, but you do see a light taking Taylor. We have two different versions one where filming Taylor and boom she's gone and one where we film one of the characters watching Taylor get taken. for now, we are sticking with the first scene unless we cant figure out a way for it to look natural. The person reviewing definitely made a comment on how we need to fix it and soon so it will complete the movie. This review gave us a lot of insight as to what needs to be fixed. I already understand what needs to be done in order for the film the look great and not just acceptable. I have faith that my group and I will have everything fixed in editing.  Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. So far, I have been following through and I have become more responsible. I'm hoping the by the end of the year I would have made major life improvements. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
