Introducing.....my new group mates!!

 Hello, and welcome back to one of my blogs where I type and you read about my experience in my media studies class. Today was the day when I decided if I want work in a group with others on the big project, or on my own. To give context, this year in media studies we are working on a new big project and we can work by ourselves or with others. I chose to work with others as its better to work in a team than work by myself. My group mates are my friends Zahra Bernard and Charles Worth, who are in my class and are both my friends. I've known Zahra since middle school, we've been in a lot of classes together and have worked on many projects together. We both share an enjoyment of music and are in a symphonic band together. Since I've known Zahra for a long time, I knew I could trust her and work on this project together rather than do it with some stranger. I'm excited to be working with her and creating an awesome mini-movie. My other teammate is Charles, I call him Charlie, and while I have not known him as long as Ive have known Zahra, we are still friends. I met him last year during my math class and we worked together on solving any math problems there have been plenty of times where we have helped each other. I know that Charlie is a smart and reliable person whose definitely gonna keep us above our wits and give us genius ideas. I think each of the members of our group brings a different aspect to the project and by us working together, we will be able to create a mini movie that will be thought-provoking and enjoyable. We have already started chatting and have come up with some ideas on what kind of concept we want for our mini-movie. We haven't landed on a solid idea but we all agree on what type of movie we want to produce and the schedule we want to do it in. while I can't say anything yet about what we're doing, I can say that I'm already excited about everything. Trust me when I say we all plan on working very hard on this project and will spare no less than one hundred percent. I know I've said this before but I can't express how excited I am for this project and for working with my group mates. I couldn't tell you how many times I have wanted to do something like this but couldn't at all find the time. Now I get to do it and it's for a grade, I don't know what to even say. I hope you all enjoyed reading my blog and reading about my new group mates.

 Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. The main person will not be wearing a hat or covering of the head of any kind.  Schedule- 11/20/2021- I will be on a trip in Orlando so will try to film some shots of places I will be at 11/21/2021- I will still be on a trip except I'll be at universal studios so I will film myself at the park with friend...

Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. So far, I have been following through and I have become more responsible. I'm hoping the by the end of the year I would have made major life improvements. I've gotten back into my art, which I love, and I am trying to hone my craft so that maybe it becomes a side business to my main job in the future. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
