Rainy day

Hello and welcome back to another one of my blog posts where I talk to you, the reader, about what me and my group have done to work on our short film. For those of you who don't know, as I just said we are working on a short film for our media studies class. Today I'm going to be talking about my groups attempt to film today on a rainy day. So far, we have everything we just needed to start filming something, so we attempted to start filming but we had to stop due to weather. It really isn't an exciting story other than that we were all upset. We wanted to get the filming done early so we would have enough time to edit and work on the music. The following weeks it's going to be hard for us to find days to work together since we all live far apart and are super busy. Zahra has a dentist appointment and is busy with schoolwork so she will be unable to work with us, while Charlie is also busy and had a booked schedule. We need to better work out the schedule for the following weeks so we know what we need to do so that we can work with the other actors better and be finished in time. Aside from that I'm very upset that weren't able to get much filming done today so I want to look at the weather for the next few weeks to see when the best days would be. I know that weather apps aren't always correct, but they do give a close to accurate prediction. I realize that I should have looked at the app before I went to film but I was mostly distracted due to everything else going on in my life. From what I see so far on the apps, I should be able to find a day where nobody would be busy, and all of us should be able to work on. While the rain did ruin the shot, it still highlighted the park and was able to show why this is a great park to film at. We found a nice space where we could film the first shot without being disturbed by others. The park itself looks very pretty and sets a good tone in general with the atmosphere and nice shading areas. I'm glad we chose this park rather than ty park, we were considering but it isn't as nice as this one. Next time we film, I'm not sure if the area we found this time will be open again, but I just hope that it is. If there are other people in the area, we could always just ask them if they mind being quiet and waiting a few minutes so we could film.  Props- In my music video, props will include microphones, fake angel wings, a backpack, picnic basket, blanket, phone, and headphones. I'm not complete sure if I want food to be included in this video and if I might have to add other props Costumes- In the music video there will be a white dress, with white heals. there will also be another costume wear its just jeans and a shirt with a jacket. Everyone else would be wearing there regular clothing regardless of the scene and will have one main person. they will be wearing all white, as per the dress and depending on the person it will change but will stay all white. The only hats worn will be worn by other background people. The main person will not be wearing a hat or covering of the head of any kind.  Schedule- 11/20/2021- I will be on a trip in Orlando so will try to film some shots of places I will be at 11/21/2021- I will still be on a trip except I'll be at universal studios so I will film myself at the park with friend...

Hello I'm Cecelia Torrez, and I'm excited to share my experience through my final project in my media studies class. I'm excited share my project with the readers of my blog, but first I want to give background about my self and what's been going on in my life. First off, my grades have gotten really good and I have been more responsible. I believe that I have become more responsible due to keeping a schedule more often of my plans for the week. The beginning of the year I made it my resolution to become more responsible for the year so that I could be better, and improve myself. So far, I have been following through and I have become more responsible. I'm hoping the by the end of the year I would have made major life improvements. Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make.
