My CR

  This year my group and I h ave worked hard, and we created our product which is a short film about a girl who is getting bullied and gets help from a surprising friend. It i s supposed to represent the struggles some kids go through and how alone they can feel sometimes. It represents the issue that a lot of kids go through daily, whether it be online or in person, bullying .   Bullying has always been a problem, kids who are preserved as different get os tracized from their social peers. Aria, the main character, is a lonely girl who doesn’t really know how to interact with other kids and because of her introverted nature she gets bullied. In the film she explains how even when she tried to tell the teachers or get them to acknowledge the bullying it gets brushed off. Bullying, while more acknowledged, still happens a lot even with people trying to teach why it's wrong. This movie is supposed to show how even though Aria felt like there was nothing she could

Tired but happy

 Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about what's been happening in my group regarding our short film. Today is finally the day where we have finished our short film and I'm so happy to be done. Don't get me wrong I love the film, but I'm really happy to be done with it so I can show others. This week was already a long week, since it's the last week of third quarter for my school a lot of work needed to be done. Sadly, my project got into the mix, so I've had a lot of late nights this week, I really need to catch up on my sleep. I can't wait for spring break; I honestly need just two days of sleep, so I don't pass out from exhaustion. After two days I'm going to start working on our short film package, I know one of my group mates has already made the website and I just need to work some parts of it. While I do want to relax spring break, I also want to get more work done on the project and possible even go over our short fil

 Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about what my group and I are doing for our short film. Today's blogs are just more of what I was talking about yesterday, People outside of my group telling us what they thought of our short film. Yesterday was really helpful in showing what could be changed in our short film. I was happy to hear some more of the reviews and what everyone thought about the film and their opinions. I was happy to hear that the dialogue didn't sound so forced because that was one of my main concerns. When I was writing the screenplay it was hard to make it, so the script flowed naturally and seemed as if it was a normal conversation. I kept rewriting and changing some parts of the screenplay so I'm really happy it turned out so well. I'm also happy about the camera work done in the film, and that it looks very professional. We tried to get a better camera, but we ended up using out phones to record and it got the job done. Thos

 Hello, my name is Cecelia, and, in this blog, I talk about what we are currently doing for our short film and what we are doing to move forward. So, in this blog I'm mostly going to be talking about more editing and having someone I know to watch and give their perspective on our film so far. I wanted to have someone who knew nothing about the film to give their outside perspective and tell us what they thought about it. So recently, we have finished most of the editing so we have mostly been looking at what can be changed and how were going to put it all together. I'm personally really happy with how the film has turned out so far, but I know we need another opinion from someone who will be nonbiased. I planned on asking my mom, and while I know it seems like she will be biased, I asked her to judge it like she would anything else. Before I showed it to her, I made sure to go over it again and see if there was anything that need fixing before I showed it to my mom. It all see

Hello, my name is Cecelia and if you don't know this is where I write about what me and my group do for our short film. Today I mainly looked at other videos about editing to help me and give ideas on what I could do for the short film. I feel as if the film is missing something and I'm going to go through different YouTube videos to see how they film and edit. It's really been annoying me, and I can tell that it's probably something miniscule. At first, I tried to go through the film on my own and see what it was missing, but I couldn't think of anything. The next thing I did was ask my group members and see what they thought, and they couldn't find anything either. So finally, what I'm doing now is look through YouTube videos to see if anyone else has some guidance on what I should as to the film. The first video I found wasn't as helpful as I hoped it would be. The guy mostly talked about what he wanted his film to look like rather than how he edited

Editing our movie

Hello, my name is Cecelia, and this is my blog where I talk about me and my groups short film and what we have been up to lately. It's been a stressful week and I've finally had the opportunity to start editing the short film. The play was a success Friday night, and I got just enough sleep to wake up early in the morning and start editing before I had to do the play at night. When I started editing, I went through my notebook for all the notes I made and started editing. I went through each clip and decided how I wanted to edit the entire scenes together. I wanted to make it go smoothly together, but that took many times because I couldn't find a good transition between scenes without any awkward pauses. I then had to make sure the audio matched up and that it wouldn't have any bits where there was pure silence. While the scenes were great, there were a few changes I had to make. I had to go through and find any scene where there was a mistake we didn't catch, and
